This stainless steel sculpture was commissioned by Bristol County Council.The site is an iron age burial mound at Badocks wood, Southmead. A poem by John Fairfax was commissioned for the piece and tells the history of the site. The hole at the top aligns with the peak of the burial mound in keeping with the ethos of the times of alignment.
